orange and public space (Rarely seen) public and edge zone

I worked this project with Denis.

I want to make our own space in the public space so we make our own space with orange corn.

The second one we putted the video camera beside the garbage can which is inside of the public market, I thought no one want to see the view under the garbage can :l  and the third one, we took a video on the south building stair which I found interesting

The edge Zone, it was hard to pick up the place and we diced to take a outside of the Opas.

I guess the videos turn out what I want and really enjoyed

I was trying to put my project on the donut or the ice cream store, but I couldn’t get a permission. I posted my project on the Emily Carr cafeteria, the first one is inside of the cafeteria, and second one is shooting from outside to inside. I guess many students are tired of doing their project, so they forget to do exercise. I want to remind students that we should (do) exercise while they are eating.

This is a website for my google map project.

The story is about a little bird who is the main character. A little bird fly around the world and view many countries.  Actually  the story is based on my biography, I add some photo instead of many text. I thought one photo is better to describe the situation, instead of using lots of words.

I shrink the photo size, but still it’s same size as original photo, I don’t know why it is not changing ;(

Fun Theory (The interactive art)

I am also taking DIVA216, and in class one of my class mate showed this interesting video in class. Many people use the escalator instead of the stair, so some artists decorate the stair with piano drawing, and add some piano’ sound. After the piano stair built, many people use the stair instead of the escalator.

While I watching this video, I feel that the interactive art is so powerful because it change people to move. Now the world is convenience, and it affects to make sluggish people. The little idea, which is like the piano stair is so useful idea in our life.

Sign project

I found some place to post my sign project which is inside of bakery and in front of the Cat’s restaurant.

This is my second idea and I post in front of the school smoke area (?!)

I added a olympic sign inside of my sign because I thought people might gets more interesting when they sees the olympic sign (becasue olymipic is coming) and I wants that olympic sign encourage people to work out.

project3 (Urban Intervention)

I guess exercising is becoming a political issue.  Many people get interesting about a diet and want to live long healthy life. Therefore when I’m walking on the entrance of Granville island people are running and biking. ( I want to put the sign on here because I want to encouraging people to exercise more and more, and stimulate people.)

Now a day diet is turned up slightly hot issue. When the fashion style is developing, the clothes want people get thinner and thinner. Some people exercise to lose their weight, which is a good way; however, some people doing food less diet (skip the meal and less movement) which is worst way.

Today, people need to do exercise even if there are not fat. The instant food became famous and many people get used to it. Fast food or instant food are increasing human’s body fat. (for example fatty liver)

My symbol include : a running pose, a jummp rope pose, and bicycle

 

Proof (panorama)

This is a proof picture for panorama. I added a white figure separately when I showed in class. I inspired by Charles Choen’s art work, in the Digital Art book, there are two example pictures of her works. The first example shows the shadows of the white figure, therefore for proof I tried to put the white figure separately, so it might be showing the shadow, but it doesn’t work successfully. Also I want to keep the original picture ( what I said in class l0l).

People might said this is a view of Granville, so little bite boring; however, I choose this  for my panorama because I found many interesting things in this photo. When you see the picture you can feel that the picture is quite rounded, like a fish eye photograph.

I have  two version for this project which is the color one and old version. Many people likes my old version picture, so I choose to print it for final.

I found basic flash tutorial in youtube, might help me to understand flash.

I want to learn how to use flash, so I would like to  compound flash with a website. Therefore I google to find some websites, and I found interesting websites!! The first one, the milk box is rotating. Suddenly the village arises, when the mile box is opened widely.  Second,  the picture of human face and eyes  are keep moving.
